Mind Matters hosted a series of events based on various psychological research to bring knowledge to the general public and showcase Sheffield as a hub for psychology!
Public engagement
We aim to facilitate discussions between academics and the general public in order to communicate the importance and impact of their research. We want to make academic knowledge accessible to all those who are interested in understanding psychology.
Founded by staff at the University of Sheffield, Mind Matters sets out to establish Sheffield as a hub for psychological research. With an accredited course, leading psychology researchers and the country’s best students’ union.
Collaborations
Mind Matters cares about engaging with the public on a national scale, that’s why we work with different organisations to spread psychology to the masses. Our collaborations include Pint of Science and the Sheffield Festival of Science and Engineering.
